Welcome to our new Executive Director
March 2, 2010
Dear Members
It is with excitement and great pleasure that I announce to you that our Association has hired an Executive Director. The position has been filled by Tonya O’Quinn who previously held the Ex Officio role on our Executive. Tonya has tremendous knowledge of the Contact Centre industry both here in Nova Scotia and around the world and will be an excellent asset to us all. The focus of the Executive Director is to propel our mandate forward by spending time each week focused on the goals of the Association. Tonya will integrate with our various committees and will attend Executive meetings.
The Executive made the decision to move forward with this salaried position as we determined it to be critical to our ability to take the Association’s mandate to the next level. As many of you have experienced, a complete volunteer run Association has many challenges as those volunteers have other jobs that often times impede progress. Having Tonya focus time weekly to our Association and its mandate will help our progress and ensure more value is offered to all of us from our Association.
This day we move CCNS to a new chapter in our history and I thank Tonya in advance for all the support she will offer us. Thank you as well to all members of our Association. Your support enables us to continue with our mandate of strengthening our industry here in Nova Scotia. If you have any questions or comments related to this announcement or any other matter related to our Association, please do not hesitate to contact me Cameron.Bruce@xerox.com. Thank you again for your continued support and I look forward to working with you in the future.
Sincerely
